I had planned a posting earlier this week but unfortunately I got migraine

for four days . . exhausting . . :(

I'm soooo clumsy . . ;]

Yesterday when I was doing some editing in my blog layout,

I managed to delete my previous posting about the leak in our roof.

I'm so sorry that I lost your kind comments :[

Anyway . . I'm happy that the leak is now temporary fixed,

and hopefully this will work well till after new year,

when it will be properly done!

Paper Star Lantern

Hello everyone.

Nice to be back after a short blog break :-)

Hope you are all happy and well!

Today I thought I'd show you this paper star I have made for Christmas.

I will not be using it as a lantern though,

only as a decor element in our living room.

Love this vintage Santa image, and have used it on

christmas cards too :)

♥

It was such a fun project to do, and easy as well.

I used a template found here.

I enlarged it a bit, so I printed the cone-shapes on

5 sheets of A4 watercolor paper for a nice texture.

The words are from a Norwegian christmas song.

Punched stars, snowflakes and leaves

Seam binding, Cheesecloth and Pearls

Snowflake and a Wood Frame

White crackle Paint and Glitter Snow

A Box - TJSC Challenge - She's so Cute 12

It has been a bit quiet in my blog lately, but finally I've regained some

inspiration for paper crafting again :-)

I have made a box and would like to enter it into:

The challenge is to use lace, punched lace or textile in your project.

I have used lace and textile. I painted the box in antique white and

white acrylic paint, and added some Distress Ink -Old Paper-

for an aged look. I also painted the metal corners in white acrylic paint.

Baptism Gown For My Grandchildren

Hello blog friends and happy thursday!

Hope you are all well and enjoying spring/early summer :)

I had a great Easter with my family, and a wonderful warm weather, almost like summer.

Today I just thought I'd show you something quite different in my blog . . .

. . . believe it or not - I actually can sew . . . lol ;-)

This is the Baptism Gown I made almost six years ago when my first

grandson Leo Alexander was born.

It's a little bit special because it's made from my wedding dress!

Thought this would be a nice gesture to my grandchildren :)

I only used the fabric, all lace and ribbons are new.

I tried designing it to fit both boys and girls ;-)

In june my new little grandson Ludvig Alexander will be wearing

this on his baptism day.

I also made a matching bonnet.

♥

It's a Boy!

Just wanted to pop in to give you a little update from me.

The last two weeks I have been very busy being grandma :-)

♥ On april 5th my new little Grandson was born ♥

I'm so happy everything went well and his parents and big brother,

who turnes six this summer, also are doing well ;-D

I can't show you any pictures of the little one because my family

do not want to have their photos published on internet.

I'm so grateful and happy for having two such sweet grandchildren :)

Today I have some more easter stuff to show you.

I have made 3 Easter Bunny Boxes from a printable template at Martha Stewart website.

I enlarged the template to fit 12"x12" sheets.

These were so much fun to create, and now they're just waiting for some candy . .!

I think the box would be very nice decorating for Baby Shower as well.

I have had a super great Christmas with my family,

a very traditional norwegian celebration.

Nice to be back in blogland as well, although I don't have

I have now closed my freebie blog so these images

I'm also working on some small changes and a new

A 3D Flower Basket

Hello and happy weekend to you all!

Hope you are enjoying warm summer weather at your place too :-)

Today I have a 3D flower basket for two challenges.

Love to do 3D stuff! :-)

Firstly the challenge over at Ett Trykk,

which is a lovely picture to get inspiration from.

I really got that nice summery feeling when I saw their picture :)

Summer for me is very much about our garden and flowers,

so I chose to do a flower basket, inspired by the sweet basket

on their photo :)

It's no secret that i just LOVE flowers and butterflies :-D

The second challenge is over at Sir Stampalot Challenge,

which is Lazy Hazy Days of Summer this month,

so I'm also entering my basket into their challenge.

An old fashioned pram for a Baby Girl

Today I have something special to show you . .

When i was browsing internet the other day

I came across a super lovely creation at Maya's blog,

and so I wanted to do my own version of a 3D pram ;)

Thank you Maya for great inspiration!

Here is my version :)

I built the pram out of Bazzill powder pink paper, and then added the patterned paper. I cut a circle in two for the sides. Added some lace, ribbons, brads, buttons and charms.

I also did a pillow and blanket ;-)

It really was sooo much fun doing this pram,

I love vintage, so I really liked making this one ;-)

This easter card I made for this weeks color challenge over at

"Just Us Girls".

They wants to see spring colors in lt.brown, lt.blue, yellow

and lt. green, so here's mine :)

I also added a twig from my garden and some pearls.

No flowers today ;-) just buttons!

Today I've made an Easter gift box and tag,

which is what I came up with for this months challenge

over at Trykkpressa.

They wanted to see boxes with ribbons.

I also made an easter tag for this box.
